'Untitled' - New Original Music - A New Idea, Trying to Jam Daily Again...

of daily jams and songwriting, though I've not shared any of it. Starting today, we're correcting that, hehe. Not everything has been worth sharing perhaps, but I feel like I shook off the cobwebs decently well. This started out as a really basic thing, just the two chords pictured below, F9 and Bb9 (with some variations depending on which part we're on), and everything else happens around those. I decided to play with some ROLI sounds, as I also hadn't used those much in the past year, and I got some really cool stuff, particularly that little glitchy/bitcrushed melody part which I think turned out nice. I automated the effects on each note to get those weird sweeps, and overall dig it. Initially, this had no drums, but I put in a basic beat just to see what it would feel like. I didn't love it, so I added a Thermal effect which created the cool doubling/quadrupling thing on the drums which I feel like works much better and is far more interesting. This definitely isn't mixed or anything, and probably needs some more variation, maybe a different melody or solo of some sort, so I'll keep playing around and share the results!
