'Texturs' - New Original Music - A Quick Idea from Last Night...

though I really like the progression and overall vibe, so I'm definitely gonna keep messing around. Track 1 uses a LABS electric keyboard, playing the main progression pictured below, as does Track 2, a LABS organ sound (the 'slow-mo' sound). Track 3 is a hissing white noise sound from the Elektron 'Super Glue' pack, which continues in the backdrop for most of the tune. It initially was just one note held out, though in between the chord changes, there are some rhythmic hits here as well to fill in those gaps. Track 4 was another sound from that pack, though I wound up automating the transposition, so it jumps up and down in pitch creating a weird glitchy effect. That fades in and out just to add some more stuff in the background. The only big variation here is the break, where Track 2 drops out, and Track 1 plays a new progression, pictured above to the right. With the LFOTool, the strange position of the changes there made for a really cool effect. I'll keep messing with this and see where things go!
