'Noyis' - New Original Music - Messing w/ Some Drums...

and wound up with what I think is a pretty cool idea so far. I'm not sure about the chords and bass, at least in this context, but the drums wound up being fun. I had started with a super basic beat, just 4 on the floor, a ride on 1/4 note hits, and some little snare/clap/snap fills at the start of each bar (syncopated). But, I added some Portal effects, and then some Thermal distortion, and recorded 3 different versions of the drums in Tracks 5, 6, and 7. On their own, each one is cool, but I wouldn't use it as an actual beat, but I think together there is a ton of interesting syncopation and fills that happened with the delay effects, making some really interesting overall. I think the chords and bass are cool in their own right but I'm not sure about this context yet... I'm gonna mess around and see if I can find some more fitting sounds, maybe less harmony and more rhythmic/noisey weirdness? We'll see.
