samples, and got an interesting little progression here. The rest of the song, the dancey beat, is goofy, and definitely not my style, that was all sort of a random addition haha. So, I'm gonna remove all that, then try something new using the samples (and maybe the bass). I used Simpler's slice setting to play little chops, starting with some string swells (Track 5), some vocals (Track 4), and some single string lines (Track 6). Track 10 uses a ROLI bass synth, and everything else is just random drum kits to provide the goofy beat. I did group the chopped samples and added an instance of Thermal after, which provided more of a rhythm to it, as well as some distortion and a bit more tone. I'll mess with this tonight and see where things go, and share the results, hopefully with more of an interesting tune.
