'LABS TEST 2' - New Original Music - Some More LABS Sounds + Weird Drum Fun

specifically some of the new sounds. Tracks 1 and 2 are from the "Hyperpop" pack; I like the swells in Track 1, though the parameters you can tweak are limited, so I mostly just increased the release and used them as is. Track 2 is another from that pack, providing the little twinkly melody parts. Basically everything else is a percussive element. I started with a basic kick/snare pattern run through Thermal to get the weird effects on it. I had it play out like 32 bars, recorded that to an audio track, and then chopped out 8 bars I liked, then had that repeat, because the effect was pretty varied and could get a bit too intense. Tracks 4 and 5 are actually little bits from that, when the effect was more intense, which I chopped apart to get little accents. Tracks 6 and 9 are drum kits, providing hi-hat sounds along with some other little hits. Finally, we have Track 7, which was initially hi-hats, but processed with the pitch being tweaked at random by an LFO, resulting in some awesome sounds. I also recorded that over 32 bars, and then chopped out the best for a loop, using that for Track 7. Overall, I like this idea. Frankly. Tracks 1 and 2 may be my least favorite bits, haha, so maybe I'll try and replace them, and see what happens, though I do like those instruments and will incorporate them elsewhere.
