Grapthar's Daily Hive Music Feature: Warpaint - 'Love Is To Die'

have been personal/longtime favorites of mine, so we're going to keep going down that road today with Warpaint. I first discovered this band in 2014 or so I believe, right after their self-titled album came out, and I was hooked, and have remained so ever since. The group was first formed in 2004, though it wouldn't be until 2010 that their first full length album would be released, and since then they've only released 3 more for a total of 4. The current line-up consists of Emily Kokal, Jenny Lee Lindberg, Stella Mozgawa, and Theresa Wayman. Kokal, Wayman and Lindberg all provide lead and backing vocals, trading off between and during songs, and all provide songwriting duties, which gives the band a much more interesting and often varied sound with everyone contributing equally. This tune is from that aforementioned self-titled, released in 2014, and was the single from that album as well. The whole album is great, and if you like this track, I highly recommend listening to the whole thing, it's well worth the time.
