Grapthar's Daily Hive Music Feature: toe - 'LONLINESS WILL SHINE'

is an all time favorite band of mine, and a group who has consistently remained on playlists of mine for years and years now. I just discovered today that they have a brand new album from this year, which I of course had to listen to, leading me to binge more of their tunes and albums. They were formed in 2000 in Tokyo, Japan and consist of Hirokazu Yamazaki, Satoshi Yamane, Takaaki Mino, and Takashi Kashikura. Their earlier material was very much in the math-rock category, but with their last 3 albums and EPs, they have incorporated a lot of other sounds and styles into that, creating some really interesting stuff. This tune is the 2nd track on the brand new album, Now I See the Light, and is a really pretty tune. Starting with their album Hear You, they began incorporating acoustic guitars a lot more, and I love the timbre it adds to their tunes. Since then, it's become a major part of their sound, which is clearly on display on this song and album overall.
