Grapthar's Daily Hive Music Feature: Metamatics/Clatterbox - 'Heddon Zara Spook'

Metamatics/Clatterbox - Heddon Zara Spook
I found Metamatics on Spotify
a couple months back totally randomly, in a playlist I stumbled onto. I really liked what I heard, and have been exploring the group's discography in the weeks since. Metamatics was formed sometime in the '90s, though I didn't find an exact date; the group was a duo, consisting of Lee Norris and Dominic Kennedy. Kennedy left in 1998 it appears, though the Metamatics project has continued on with just Lee Norris. Lee ran his own label Neo Ouija, which released a ton of material from Norris over the years. Today's song comes from his 2008 album Project Unison, which was a collaboration with Clatterbox, another electronic musician who I can find almost no info on, hehe. I really love this album, it has some great sounds, super cool grooves, and just an awesome overall vibe, and I highly recommend checking it out in its entirety.

Actually mathematical music :) Surprising. It will probably remain just a curiosity. But it can inspire and indicate the direction of the search.
