I have loved for years, starting from seeing him on Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, The Mighty Boosh and Snuff Box, though he has done a ton of other amazing stuff since. You may know him from his more recent role in the TV adaptation of What We Do In The Shadows. In all of the shows he's in, he incorporates music, with hilarious songs that he sings, but also with writing the actual music, which is more impressive a lot of the time. To be able to write parody songs that match the intended genre SO perfectly is a skill, and Berry (and others in these shows) definitely have it. However, he also writes his own serious(ish) music, or at least music that isn't specifically comedic, of which today's tune is one example. This is apparently from an upcoming album, though for now, it has just been released as a single. I really love the sounds used in this song, all of the timbres and textures are great and definitely invoke a bit of a throwback vibe, though the modern production helps keep it feeling new and crispy.
