Grapthar's Daily Hive Music Feature: Everyone Asked About You - 'Sometimes Memory Fails Me Sometimes'

Everyone Asked About You - Sometimes Memory Fails Me Sometimes
I figured today we'd go with another

sort of unknown group I found via the Numero Group, and although this band apparently did have a sort of cult following before Numero Group re-released their music, they definitely were entirely unknown to me and I'm sure many others. The band was formed in Little Rock, AR and appears to have only been active from 1997 to 1999, though this apparently not entirely known, those are the only 2 years that have been confirmed. Initially, their one 7" release would slowly gain the attention of music nerds and record collectors after their break-up, and get passed around in various quality rips on the internet in the decades since. It is now available on Spotify, as is an EP they released, and a single, which is today's tune. I love mid/late '90s emo bands, before pop-punk and emo sort of merged; the jangly guitars are '80s college rock influenced here, and remind me a bit of very early Modest Mouse stuff, though less 'artsy', more catchy and well... emotional, hehe.
