Aphex Twin - zin2 test5

I know I shared an Aphex Twin

relatively recently, but, his music is always at the top of my list, so we're going with him again today. The first time I heard Aphex Twin in high school, I was mind blown. I had no context for what I was hearing, and honestly wasn't even entirely sure what I was hearing or how it was made, haha. Over the years, I got more and more into his music, and have become a lifelong fan. Aphex Twin is one of a few different monikers for Richard D. James, a legendary electronic musician whose music has influenced artists from across the musical spectrum, and an artist who is just consistently trying new things and making incredible music. While he started as more of a typical DJ, over the decades, his level of experimentation and mind bending songwriting style has evolved so much, with each new release breaking all sorts of boundaries. This song is from his most recent EP, 2023's Blackbox Life Recorder 21f / In a Room7 F760. It's one of 3 songs, plus a remix, on his 15th EP, and is a great example of his ability to utilize new sounds and production and still create something completely original. There are elements of various dance and electronic genres throughout, but his songs never fit neatly into them, instead being more easily described as simply sounding like Aphex Twin.
