and I think overall I like it much better. Things were a bit cluttered initially, and I also had initially messed around with the Color Limiter (a plug-in I sorta forgot about), which was cool but I think overdid it on the master track; it got more volume but I didn't like the sound of the tune, so I removed that for now. Using it on individual tracks would be the better option, plus not CRANKING it like I did here at first, hehe. The original 4 tracks are all here, but now there is an additional percussion track sort of doubling the sound we hear in the intro by itself. I tuned down the kicks, as they were a bit too mid-heavy, and then added a snare which has some delay on every 1st and 3rd hit. I also ran this through a filter delay, recording that wet audio separately, and tweaked it a bit to add some background sounds to fill things in a bit. Track 15 is a Ride cymbal, but it fades in pretty slow, then fades out, just adding a little accent at the start of each chord change. Track 4 is the same as Track 3, same progression and actually recorded FROM Track 3, but it has a Thermal distortion/filter and a few other things on it. It's pretty quiet, but it helps when the chords fade out, and adds some more space. I'll probably sit on this for a day or two, then revisit it and see what I want to do, if anything, so I'll share that here!
