'After the Apocalypse' - Original Music - A Throwback Tune, from Highschool

of mine from high school, an instrumental thing, no drums (at the time, all drums were digital as I didn't know a drummer, nor could I have recorded them hehe). But, I still like the idea. The basic progression is pretty simple, and was just my guitar plugged directly into a laptop (no interface even, haha, just an 1/8th inch plug) with Garageband distortion on it. However, my favorite part is the background stuff, particularly the little swells of notes; these were done with a little tappy guitar riff, which I recorded, then layered with reverb and delay, and bounced it back and forth with panning. The actual playing wasn't perfect, my skill at tapping wasn't developed enough to do that, haha, but the effect and general idea I still think are pretty cool.
