Music and Food
The commonest way that I keep myself motivated in almost all situations is by playing music. I could decide to blast it for all to hear or just use an ear piece and enjoy it alone.
The therapy that music brings to me is such that my mood can go from 0 - 100 in split seconds once I am listening to music.
For this reason, the commonest thing I can be seen with is my earphones or music box. These two are indispensable for my happiness and consequently my motivation to perform tasks and achieve milestones.
Music is a non negotiable need for me, it has no substitute and so I prioritise good music.
There are few instances where I listen to my favourite songs but still find myself lacking motivation, in such circumstances, I realise that it could be hunger that is the problem.
So, apart from music, another way through which I stay motivated is by filling my stomach with good food.
Food is also a vital mood booster which is why people say that "a hungry man is an angry man". When the belly is empty, one is angry but if it is filled with food, a man can cope with most challenges that may come his way.
I have come to realise that most times, it is the simple things that makes the real difference in life. It's not always about going out of our way or thinking outside the box. The solution can be as simple as listening to music or eating good food, not just junks.
If food and music don't solve the problem for me, then likely, the problem is from the task itself. Perhaps it is too demanding or just quite confusing. In such instances, I do not hesitate to consult friends or seniors who are much more knowledgeable than me in that regard with the aim of gaining clarity on how to fire on.
