Un gran saludo a toda la comunidad de Music en Hive, espero que todos se encuentren de maravilla.
Me estoy iniciando en Hive y les traigo un post sobre música, pero ojo, no soy músico, ni cantante, ni crítico de música, ni mucho menos profesor ni estudiante de música. Se preguntarán ustedes: ¿y entonces que hago aquí?. La respuesta es muy sencilla. Soy un simple mortal que ha vivido seis décadas escuchando todo tipo de géneros musicales, pues me encanta la música y la disfruto cada vez que puedo, porque me transporta en el tiempo y me hace rememorar momentos felices de mi vida.
Me decidí a trabajar en este blog, especialmente para mostrar a nuestros jóvenes, que existen piezas musicales que ellos poco conocen y que generaron la mayoría a de las corrientes musicales de hoy día. Además, no pretendo aquí criticar ni analizar a profundidad ninguno de los temas que les presento. Sólo me limitaré a narrarles la influencia que han tenido en cada etapa de mi vida.
Comenzaré esta serie de publicaciones en Hive, con tres canciones de la década del 70-80, posteriormente les presentaré, en otros post, las siguientes etapas.
La primera canción que presentaré se titula “camino del puente”, una canción bastante antigua cuyo intérprete es Roberto Ledesma. Les invito a escucharla.

I'm just starting on Hive and I bring you a post about music, but be careful, I'm not a musician, nor a singer, nor a music critic, much less a teacher or a music student. You may ask yourselves: what am I doing here? The answer is very simple. I am a simple mortal who has lived six decades listening to all kinds of musical genres, because I love music and I enjoy it every time I can, because it transports me in time and makes me remember happy moments of my life.
I decided to work on this blog, especially to show our young people, that there are musical pieces that they know little about and that generated most of the musical currents of today. Furthermore, I do not intend here to criticize or analyze in depth any of the themes that I present to you. I will only limit myself to narrate the influence they have had in each stage of my life.
I will begin this series of publications in Hive, with the decade of 70-80, then I will present, in other posts, the following stages.
The first song I will present is entitled "camino del puente", a very old song whose interpreter is Roberto Ledesma. I invite you to listen to it.
Roberto Ledesma es un cantante cubano que interpreta este bolero y se los traigo por una razón muy sencilla: en la década de los 70, tenia yo alrededor de 10 años y estaba en la etapa de la escuela primaria; mi papá estaba acostumbrado a levantarse todos los días a las 5 de la mañana y la primera cosa que hacía era encender el radio que estaba en la sala. Era un radio grande y antiguo, casi de museo, que sonaba bastante bien y donde se sintonizaban las estaciones del antiguo palacio radial de Barquisimeto: radio Lara, Barquisimeto, universo, juventud y cristal.
Cuando encendía la radio, todo el sonido invadía el cuarto que estaba al lado de la sala, donde yo dormía, debido a que la habitación no tenía puerta. Con mucha frecuencia colocaban esa canción y yo la incorporaba de forma increíble a mi sueño. Es decir, cuando la canción decía: “camino del puente me iré, a tirar tu cariño al río…”, yo me veía en el sueño acompañando a esa persona en su caminata hacia el puente en cuestión y cuando me despertaba, recordaba el sueño y también el acompañamiento musical.
Son canciones que quedan marcadas para siempre y al escucharlas evocas aquellos momentos de mi infancia. Por esta razón es que me encanta la música, porque me transporta a situaciones trascendentales de las etapas de mi vida.
El segundo tema, es una canción venezolana interpretada por Juan Ignacio León, un Guariqueño más conocido como Juan del campo. Escuchémosla.
Roberto Ledesma is a Cuban singer who interprets this bolero and I bring it to you for a very simple reason: in the 70's, I was about 10 years old and I was in elementary school; my dad was used to get up every day at 5 in the morning and the first thing he did was to turn on the radio that was in the living room. It was a big old radio, almost a museum radio, which sounded pretty good and where the stations of the old radio palace of Barquisimeto were tuned: radio Lara, Barquisimeto, universo, juventud and cristal.
When my father turned on the radio, all the sound invaded the room next to the living room, where I slept, because the room had no door. Very often they would play that song and I would incorporate it incredibly into my sleep. That is to say, when the song said: "on my way to the bridge I will go, to throw your love to the river...", I saw myself in the dream accompanying that person in his walk towards the bridge in question and when I woke up, I remembered the dream and also the musical accompaniment.
They are songs that are marked forever and when you listen to them you evoke those moments of my childhood. This is why I love music, because it transports me to transcendental situations of the stages of my life.
The second track is a Venezuelan song performed by Juan Ignacio León, a Guariqueño better known as Juan del campo. Let's listen to it.
A veces mi madre me llamaba para que me levantara para ir a la escuela y la canción estaba sonando. Entonces yo esperaba a que terminara para poder levantarme. Definitivamente, la época de mi infancia fue mi favorita. Solo pensaba ir a la escuela, hacer las tareas y venir a casa a jugar con mis hermanos y a ver la televisión.
Finalmente, la tercera canción es también del folklore venezolano, interpretada por un dúo llamado el dueto criollísimo y que formó parte de mi desarrollo personal.
This is one of the first Venezuelan songs I heard and enjoyed in my childhood. I also listened to it in the mornings in the Venezuelan music programs on the radio, but unlike the first song I showed you, here I was already awake and I loved its lyrics dedicated to lost love, its melody and that cuatro solo with the flavor of the countryside and country work. It is a song that has a very pleasant sonority, one of those that you can listen to a thousand times and never get tired of it.
Sometimes my mother would call me to get up for school and the song was playing. Then I would wait for it to end so I could get up. Definitely, the time in my childhood was my favorite. All I could think about was going to school, doing homework and coming home to play with my siblings and watch TV.
Finally, the third song is also from Venezuelan folklore, performed by a duo called the duet criollísimo and that was part of my personal development.
El dueto criollísimo estaba formado por dos venezolanos: Mauricio Chocrón e Ignacio Herrera y sonaron mucho en los 70 con varios temas, pero el más conocido es el caminante.
Esta canción trae a mi mente las mañanas en que veía a mi madre haciendo arepas para vender. Con su ayudante de cocina marca Electrolux encendido moliendo el maíz recién cocido.El ruido ensordecedor del motor ahogaba la musica que salía de un radio pequeño que mi mamá tenía en la cocina para escuchar las noticias. A esa hora de la mañana siempre repetían la canción del caminante.
Con esta canción aprendí a querer la música venezolana, ya que el juego de voces del duo y la agradable melodía la convertían en una pieza muy dulce y fácil de escuchar.
Con esto termina mi post. En próximas entregas les presentaré mi música en la década de los 80 y les contaré su influencia en mi vida. Espero que haya sido de su agrado y que me comenten si ya conocían estas canciones.

The duet criollísimo was formed by two Venezuelans: Mauricio Chocrón and Ignacio Herrera and they were very popular in the 70's with several songs, but the best known is "The walker".
This song brings to my mind the mornings when I used to see my mother making arepas to sell. The deafening noise of the motor drowned out the music coming out of a small radio that my mother had in the kitchen to listen to the news. At that time of the morning they always repeated the song of "The Walker".
With this song I learned to love Venezuelan music, as the play of voices of the duo and the pleasant melody made it a very sweet and easy to listen to piece.
