You are always welcome to my blog to continue making a journey through the songs of all times and analyze the message they want to convey.

This time the selection includes the songs that best speak or are related to that beautiful feeling of love.

I must confess that it took me some time to make the selection, because love is the main source of inspiration that leads poets, musicians and singers to compose and perform songs, and this means that there are thousands of songs that speak of love.

Of course for the selection of the songs I took as a basis first the content of the lyrics, taking care of the message and then the melody.

Sean siempre bienvenidos a mi blog para continuar haciendo un recorrido a través de las canciones de todas las épocas y analizar ese mensaje que nos quieren transmitir.
En esta oportunidad la selección incluye las canciones que mejor hablan o tiene relación con ese bello sentimiento del amor.
Debo confesarles que me llevó tiempo hacer la selección, motivado a que el amor es la principal fuente de inspiración que lleva a los poetas, músicos y cantantes a componer e interpretar las canciones, y esto hace que existan miles de canciones que hablan del amor.
Por supuesto para la escogencia de los temas tomé como base primeramente el contenido de la letra, cuidando el mensaje y luego la melodía.

José Rómulo Sosa Ortiz is the real name of this Mexican singer, now deceased, known worldwide as José José José.

This song from 1977 heads my selection considering that it clearly explains the difference between loving and wanting.

Summarizing the lyrics of the song we come to the conclusion that love is synonymous of surrender, suffering, service, it has no end, it is heaven, it is light, it is total fullness, it is glory and it is peace.

On the other hand, love is characterized by joy, pleasure, it does not like to suffer or cry, it is suddenly ending and fleeting desire.

As we see, it is very important not to confuse one thing with the other. We must learn to say "I love you" when we are truly willing to sacrifice ourselves for that other person without fear of suffering or crying; when we always wish the good for the other above our own; when we no longer talk about me or you but about us in good times and bad.

In any other case we must be clear that what we feel is not love but a simple physical attraction, desire and always having a good time, that would be the "want".

The song explains it at the beginning and at the end: "almost everybody knows how to love, but few know how to love".

The second melody chosen is : Yo te amo with Chayane.

José Rómulo Sosa Ortiz es el verdadero nombre de este cantante Mexicano, ya fallecido, conocido mundialmente como José José.
Este tema del año 1977 encabeza mi selección considerando que explica claramente la diferencia entre amar y querer.
Resumiendo la letra de la canción llegamos a la conclusión de que el amor es sinónimo de entrega, sufrimiento, servicio, no tiene fin, es el cielo, es luz, es total plenitud, es gloria y es paz.
Por otra parte, el querer se caracteriza por el gozo, el placer, no le gusta sufrir ni llorar, es de pronto acabar y deseo fugaz.
Como vemos, es muy importante no confundir una cosa con la otra. Debemos aprender a decir "te amo" cuando de verdad estamos dispuestos a sacrificarnos por esa otra persona sin temor a sufrir o llorar; cuando deseamos siempre el bien para el otro por encima del nuestro; cuando ya no hablamos de mi o de ti sino de nosotros en las buenas y en las malas.
En cualquier otro caso debemos estar claros que lo que sentimos no es amor sino una simple atracción física, deseo y siempre pasarla bien, eso sería el "querer".
La canción lo explica al principio y al final: " casi todos sabemos querer, pero pocos sabemos amar"
La segunda melodía escogida es : Yo te amo con Chayane.

Elmer Figueroa Arce, artistically known as Chayane, is the next guest to make his contribution to this topic.

Most of his songs are dedicated to love and I chose this one in particular because of the beauty of his lyrics.

He uses poetic phrases to describe the beautiful feeling of love:

La mayoría de las canciones de este artista están dedicadas al amor y escogí esta en particular por la belleza de su letra.
Utiliza frases poéticas para describir el hermoso sentimiento del amor:

En general, las letras de sus temas están cargadas de sentimiento que hace de sus canciones verdaderas joyas musicales que enamoran a miles de mujeres. Conozco a muchas que mueren por Chayane.
Continuamos con la agrupación Reik y su tema: un amor de verdad.

With this song we can ask ourselves: Does real love or true love that Reik mentions in his song, does it exist today or is it a theme of soap operas?

True love does exist and withstands any hurricane, storm or any situation no matter how terrible it may be, as long as it is based on dialogue and mutual respect.

The sacred scriptures in the first letter to the Corinthians (1 Cor 13:5-7) illustrate what true love is:

**"Love does not act basely or seek its own interest, it is not carried away by anger and forgets what is wrong. It does not rejoice in what is unjust, but rejoices in the truth. It endures in spite of everything, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.

It is worth mentioning that enduring everything does not mean being anchored to an unhealthy relationship without being able to get out of it. It is about relationships where reciprocity exists.

Con esta canción podemos preguntarnos: ¿El amor de verdad o amor verdadero que menciona Reik en su canción, existe en la actualidad o es un tema de novelas?
El amor verdadero si existe y soporta cualquier huracán, tempestad o cualquier situación por terrible que sea, siempre y cuando esté fundamentado en el diálogo y el respeto mutuo.
Las sagradas escrituras en la primera carta a los Corintios (1Cor 13,5-7) nos ilustra lo que es un amor verdadero:
"El amor no actúa con bajeza ni busca su propio interés, no se deja llevar por la ira y olvida lo malo. No se alegra de lo injusto sino que se goza en la verdad. Perdura a pesar de todo, lo cree todo, lo espera todo y lo soporta todo"
Vale mencionar que soportarlo todo no quiere decir estar anclado a una relación enfermiza sin poder salir de allí. Se trata de relaciones donde exista la reciprocidad.
El cuarto tema lo presenta Olga Tañon titulado: flaca o gordita.

La llamada "mujer de fuego" Olga Tañón nos da la receta para mantener a flote ese barco que se llama amor verdadero:

"Quiero más tiempo igual que ayer
quiero más besos con sabor a miel"
La principal amenaza a la relación de parejas es, sin duda, la rutina. El acostumbrarnos a hacer siempre lo mismo en forma repetitiva puede llegar a destruir cualquier relación amorosa por muy fuerte y consolidada que parezca.
¿La solución? No descuidar esos pequeños detalles que tenías con tu pareja cuando eran novios y comenzaba la etapa del enamoramiento: Flores, dulces, paseos, llamadas telefónicas. ¿Por qué al pasar los años se va perdiendo? La rutina es la causante de ello.
En resumen, mantenerse siempre como en esa etapa, romper siempre la rutina haciendo cosas diferentes pero siempre de mutuo acuerdo.

In this beautiful song Richard Marx shows us that despite the distance and being apart, love, when it is true, looks for a way to survive. And notice that I say true love, because if it is not true, the partner is simply replaced by one that is closer and the problem is solved.

This reality is currently experienced with the exodus to other countries. One of the two goes to another country to seek fortune with the idea of sending for his or her partner once he or she is established. But many times this does not happen immediately and the separation goes through this ordeal. Only couples whose bonds of love are well strengthened remain together.

En esta hermosa canción Richard Marx nos muestra que a pesar de la distancia y el estar separados, el amor cuando es verdadero busca la manera de sobrevivir. Y fíjense que digo amor verdadero, porque de no serlo, simplemente se sustituye la pareja por una que esté mas cercana y problema resuelto.
Esta realidad se vive actualmente con el éxodo a otros países. Se marcha uno de los dos a otro país a buscar fortuna con la idea de enviar por su pareja luego que esté establecido. Pero muchas veces eso no ocurre de inmediato y ls separación pasa por esta dura prueba. Solo permanecen unidas las parejas cuyos lazos de amor están bien fortalecidos.
