MY MOVIE REVIEW: KYLE XY

Sometimes whenever I looked back to my childhood days and how I grew up watching a whole lot of movies ranging from different genres and types, I just wished I can return back to those childhood days. In the adulthood stage I am now, it is not really that I don't have time to watch movies but of course the responsibility that comes with the adult stage have limited my time for that.

Apart from that, I hardly see any movie recently created that is so entertaining like those movies I watched growing up. Among all the entertainingly movies I can watch over and over again is Kyle XY. Trust me, I can spend hours upon hours watching Kyle XY growing up and even till now, I still rewatch it when I am bored.

Watching that movie makes me to ask some deep questions. If you are a fan of Kyle XY, you will understand what I am talking about. The movie started with high level of curiosity. How on earth will a small boy just wake up without not me anything, no memory, no knowledge about anything. That's not all, the most shocking part is that the small boy does not have a belly button which some called a navel. That looks so strange.

Been taken in by a family and the small boy later named Kyle as he was the one that played the lead actor in the movie, the movie ranging from the strange power and origin of the small boy gives the movie all that entertainment feelings it needs. Kyle whose real name is Matt Dallas really played a perfect role most especially that alien innocence he attached to his role. Everything about him just always speaks genius and perfection.

If there is 3 major things I noticed in that movie when watching, it was the fact that fiction, drama and high level of curiosity and suspense was actually combined the other. Of course there are instances whereby funny scenes was acted but that was not really much. I think what glued viewers to the movie most of the time are the magic scene and the suspense in it.

The movie passed a strong message of government secrets, of a journey to discover yourself. Kyle was fighting his enemies and unknown to him was also fighting himself. I remember vividly, the movie opened my eyes to learn what cloning is for the first time in my life. It opened my eyes to the scientific world. I finished watching the movie and keep researching what cloning is and how it is been done. For me, this is special most especially as a Nigerian that I am who have been used to all those love movies.

But I definitely have a but concerning the movie which I personally did not like and that is the way the movie ended. I believe the show was cut short and gives it's viewers a lot of unanswered questions. But even with that, I can still watch the movie over and over again and if you have not, try to check it out. You will definitely see that it is a movie watch watching.

Definitely if I am to give it a rating, it will definitely be 8/10. Everything was perfect but the way the show ended was not so good. It leaves a lot of questions in the heart of viewers which should not be so actually.
