MOVIE REVIEW: THE FORGE
I actually missed the days I will spend hours watching quality movies all through the day. Whenever I am watching movies, I am not only doing that to pass time or probably for the entertainment purposes. Absolutely no, I usually do watch movies to try get the message that is present in the movies which sometimes we usually ignore.
Recently I watch a particular movie even out of my busy schedule and I must confess that the movie really stood out for me because it was actually able to open my eyes to a whole lot of things and that is the forge. The movie is a faith based movie but trust me, there is a whole lot to learn from that movie actually.
If there is something that this particular movie when watching it opened my eyes to, I will say it is the importance of Mentorship and having a purposeful living. I grew up in a society that of course understand this spiritual legacy but didn't pay attention to mentorship like that. We always see our parents as our only good mentors but watching this particular movie really changed my perspective about it rapidly.
The fact that the movie center around a context that opened the eyes of the younger generation the power of discipleship and Mentorship. The lead role in that movie was this young guy called Aspen Kennedy who experienced that transformation in his life and that is thanks to the Mentorship he received from Cameron Arnett and other mentors. The fact that generational transfer and legacy was actually emphasis on in this movie was actually something that makes me to value this movie much more.
When I was watching this particular movie, it opened my eyes to see the need why I personally as a father needs to mentor my children and generally our youth in our Society must experience mentorship. I also love the varieties of cast they used most especially the women. They all did a great job and the movie production was also so amazing I must confess. So amazing beyond what I can imagine.
For me, I see The Forge movie beyond just a movie, it is a wake up call for everyone, families, parents, youth for us to take actions, to redeem our youth by exposing them to the necessary mentorship they actually need to thrive and succeed in life. There is also something I was able to take home when watching the movie and that is, the future belongs to those who are ready to invest in it. If everyone can follow the message the movie passed across, the future of the next generation is assured safely.
Rating: 9/10
I will have given this movie 10/10 but if course, for now there is no movie that deserve the perfection but I really love it so much. I will leave it with 9/10 and I am so sure that it will be something that is great to see.

Awesome! I still haven't seen this movie. Am planning on seeing the War Room film first before this one. Hehe.
Yeah I have seen this movie. Young men could learn from this, not everyone could follow though because it’s based of a religious context yet, it’s a movie for everyone.
A very powerful and inspiring movie. The importance of discipleship just can't be overemphasized. Shout out to the Kendrick brothers for this amazing piece
