Well because of his desire to always show off he ended up doing very little with his musical side of things when he could have done quite a lot. I don't think there was anything that he couldn't play, he just refused to play simple things unless they were covers. We used to joke about his super fast fills and how they all sound like shoes in the dryer. They were out of place and too fast given the tempo of the song we were currently playing.
