Dibujando un disco de vinilo // Drawing a vinyl record [ESP/ENG]

Hola artistas de HiveArte! Hace poco me puse el reto de dibujar algo diario, pues siento que para lograr perfeccionarme en este arte, tengo que practicar mucho.

Así que hoy les traigo el primer dibujo de la semana, el cual está inspirado en la palabra olvido; que por cierto, si miran detenidamente, verán que se encuentra en todo el dibujo.

Hello HiveArte artists! I recently set myself the challenge of drawing something daily, because I feel that in order to perfect myself in this art, I have to practice a lot.

So today I bring you the first drawing of the week, which is inspired by the word oblivion; which by the way, if you look carefully, you will see that it is all over the drawing.

Se me vino a la cabeza dibujar un disco de vinilo roto y viejo, así que empecé haciendo la base redonda de este y posterior a ello, los otros detalles que pueden ver.

It came to my mind to draw a broken and old vinyl record, so I started by making the round base of it and after that, the other details you can see.

Decidí que el disco sería completamente, pero luego vi que era mejor agregarle algo de color en el centro. Aquí le di la primera capa con acuarela negra y con marcadores azules.

I decided that the disk would be completely, but then I saw that it was better to add some color in the center. Here I gave it the first layer with black watercolor and blue markers.

Le di una segunda capa de negro y como ven, decidí que solo una pequeña parte del disco tendría color, pues, se ve mucho mejor. Luego de que secara la segunda capa, le agregue detalles de luz y de desgaste con lápiz de color plateado.

I gave it a second coat of black and as you can see, I decided that only a small part of the disk would have color, so it looks much better. After the second coat dried, I added light and wear details with silver colored pencil.

Por último, con la ayuda de una servilleta, difuminé todo el color y agregué más sombra con un lápiz de color negro donde hacía falta.

Finally, with the help of a napkin, I blurred all the color and added more shadow with a black pencil where needed.
