God is the only person worthy of our praise. Like a song writer says I will not knee before God and knee before man, I will not cry before God and cry before man because Him alone deserve our Glory, honour, praise and worship. That is to say you will not give God what belongs to Him and still end up in shame. Worshipping and prasing God is the reason God created mankind, to give Him that which he cannot give to Himself.
David is our case study, the scripture says David worship God with his guitar, even if he sin against God, once he realizes that he offended God, immediately he will carry his instrument, pour ashes on his body and worship God.
The Lord said according to the bible that David was a man after His heart, despite all his shortcomings that was because he knows and understand the importance of worshipping and prasing God.
He fought different wars and came back victoriously, that is the importance of worshipping and prasing God.
Give glory to God, in any situation you found yourself because the scripture says give thanks to God whether good or bad.
Many people speak bad against God once they found themselves in any difficult situation, they say all sorts of rubbish because they thought that God has forsaken them.
Not knowing that God is ever worthy of His praise that He cannot lie or forsake Him own.
Try to develop the attributes of worshipping and prasing God, make it a habit even in your closet because Him alone deserve our praise.
