Hello everyone, Welcome to VIBES WEB 3 music competition week 6. I'm excited to be a part of this wonderful competition this week. Today, I will be doing a cover of the song TALKING TO THE MOON by Bruno Mars.

The song talks about heartbreak and loneliness. It's about a man who lost the love of his life. He believes she is somewhere far away longing for him too or probably just thinking about him.

I decided to sing the song this week because I've been in similar shoes lately. The thought of my very first love came to mind. We were so young and inlove. Unfortunately we never probably dated. He asked me out severally but the fact that I come from a strict family didn't give me the courage to agree to his proposal. Nevertheless, we became so close. We talked every night, texting and once in a while talk on night calls. At a point, he was my best friend and I loved him so much. When we got older, we went to different Universities and life pulled us apart. After some years, he left the country and I haven't heard from him since. Its been over 10years now since I've heard from him and sometimes I miss him so much. My heart longs for him and I blame myself for letting him go.

There you have the story behind my choice of song this week. Sometimes I sit by myself thinking about him while hoping that he's also think about me too. I hope he remembers me, remember what we shared and how special what we had was.

I really love the lyrics of the song. It's very thoughtful. Aside the amazing lyrics, I love the rhythm of the song and the beat. Everything synchronised perfectly with each other.
