Beautiful morning to you all. I want to welcome you to Afritunes week 98. Today, I will be doing a cover of the song Smile for me by SIMI. Simi is a Nigerian musician who have this beautiful and amazing soprano voice. She had sang a couple of popular songs like Duduke, Jerome, Love don't care etc. Her voice is vert distinct and just so lovely and pleasing to listen to.
"Smile for me" is a beautiful love song that talks about being there for the one you love no matter the circumstances nor situation. How you havr to bring out your best side whenever you're around the person you love. The song is rich in lyrics and the rhythm is wonderful. The song came out around the time when I was in the University. I remember I was doing my final year lab work then. There was this particular day that I put this song on repeat in the lab and it created a strong memory in my head. Now whenever I listen to the song, I always remember that day in the lab. Lol.
