Beautiful morning to you all. With great joy in my heart, I welcome you all to week 174. I'm so blessed and super grateful for being the one to choose the theme for this week. It's been a long time dream and it's finally coming to pass. I want to specially thank @hiveopenmic for counting me worthy to be the Spotlight Artist. It means a lot.🙏🙏🙏

Hermosa mañana para todos ustedes. Con gran alegría en mi corazón, les doy la bienvenida a todos a la semana 174. Estoy muy bendecida y súper agradecida por haber elegido el tema de esta semana. Ha sido un sueño de mucho tiempo y finalmente se está haciendo realidad. Quiero agradecer especialmente a @hiveopenmic por considerarme digno de ser el artista destacado. Significa mucho.🙏🙏🙏
I choose the theme "BEACON OF LIGHT" because it has a special meaning to me. I suffer from depression and other mental health issues and it got so bad that few years back I even tried to kill myself. At that lowest moment of mine, I was surrounded by my family. Their grace, help and kindness saved me. God used them to be my Beacon of light till date. Apart from family, I've been blessed with some special friends too who had always been there for me. Sometimes I sit and think about how miserable life might have been if these people aren't in my life. Most days I just can't find the zeal to continue, but they are always there to remind me of the amazing journey God has placed in front of me and not to give up. They are my Beacons of light. They come in form of family, friends, neighbours, colleagues and many more. God works in mysterious ways and he will use different people to bless other people.
Elijo el tema "FARO DE LUZ" porque tiene un significado especial para mí. Sufro de depresión y otros problemas de salud mental y empeoró tanto que hace unos años incluso intenté suicidarme. En ese momento más bajo mío, estaba rodeado de mi familia. Su gracia, ayuda y amabilidad me salvaron. Dios los usó para ser mi Faro de luz hasta la fecha. Aparte de la familia, también he sido bendecida con algunos amigos especiales que siempre han estado ahí para mí. A veces me siento y pienso en lo miserable que hubiera sido la vida si estas personas no estuvieran en mi vida. La mayoría de los días simplemente no puedo encontrar el entusiasmo para continuar, pero siempre están ahí para recordarme el maravilloso viaje que Dios ha puesto frente a mí y para no rendirme. Ellos son mis Faros de luz. Vienen en forma de familiares, amigos, vecinos, colegas y muchos más. Dios trabaja de maneras misteriosas y usará a diferentes personas para bendecir a otras personas.
I am also using this theme to encourage us to be that Beacon of light to those around us. A simple text message can go a long way in saving a life. A simple act of giving can turn another person's present moment around for good. A smile to a stranger can just brighten up his/her day. Being a Beacon of light is not so hard at all. They are simple acts of kindness that we might not see as a big of a deal but they go a long way to those receiving it. Let this be a part of us so much that wherever we find ourselves, our light will radiates around and touch lives positively.
También estoy usando este tema para animarnos a ser ese Faro de luz para quienes nos rodean. Un simple mensaje de texto puede ayudar mucho a salvar una vida. Un simple acto de dar puede cambiar el momento presente de otra persona para siempre. Una sonrisa a un extraño puede alegrar su día. Ser un Faro de luz no es tan difícil en absoluto. Son simples actos de bondad que quizás no veamos como un gran problema, pero son de gran ayuda para quienes los reciben. Deje que esto sea una parte de nosotros tanto que donde sea que nos encontremos, nuestra luz irradie y toque vidas positivamente.
Today, I will be doing a cover of the song Leave a light on by Tom Walker. This song is about a concerned friend begging and pleading to his friend not to give up. He reminds him that he will always leave a light on which means, he'll always be there for him. He will never give up on him.
As I'm encouraging us to be a Beacon of light, I also want to encourage those suffering in one way or the other not to give up. If you look around and you can't find anyone, do know that God is the Ultimate Beacon of Light. His light never dies nor go dim, he will always come through for you. Keep holding on, keep trusting him and He will give you peace.
I accompanied the song with an instrumental I generated from the moises app. All parts of the song was sang by my humble self alone and I do hope you enjoy the song.
Hoy haré un cover de la canción Leave a light on de Tom Walker. Esta canción trata sobre un amigo preocupado que ruega y le suplica a su amigo que no se dé por vencido. Él le recuerda que siempre dejará una luz encendida, lo que significa que siempre estará ahí para él. Él nunca se dará por vencido con él.
Así como nos animo a ser un Faro de luz, también quiero animar a aquellos que sufren de una forma u otra a que no se den por vencidos. Si miras a tu alrededor y no puedes encontrar a nadie, debes saber que Dios es el último faro de luz. Su luz nunca muere ni se oscurece, siempre vendrá por ti. Sigue aguantando, sigue confiando en él y Él te dará paz.
Acompañé la canción con un instrumental que generé desde la aplicación moises. Todas las partes de la canción fueron cantadas por mi humilde yo solo y espero que disfruten la canción.
