Saludos hivers amantes de la música es un placer unirme a esta comunidad aun cuando no es para entonar melodía alguna, pero si para hacerle tributo a esas personas que aman comunicarse a través del canto transmitiendo un mensaje que llegue al público con agrado como lo supo hacer Ricardo Aguirre y es que cada ocho de noviembre se conmemora el fallecimiento de este máximo exponente de la Gaita Zuliana, fecha por el cual se decidió celebrar este género musical a manera de exaltar este ritmo pascuero que inunda a Venezuela en épocas decembrinas y que actualmente es conocido en otros países del mundo.
Greetings hivers music lovers it is a pleasure to join this community even if it is not to sing any melody, but to pay tribute to those people who love to communicate through singing transmitting a message that reaches the public with pleasure as he knew how to do Ricardo Aguirre and is that every November 8 commemorates the death of this greatest exponent of the Gaita Zuliana, This is the date for which it was decided to celebrate this musical genre as a way to exalt this Easter rhythm that floods Venezuela during the Christmas season and is currently known in other countries around the world.
Ricardo Aguirre no solo fue cantante, también fue compositor, arreglista, maestro y director de orquesta. El Monumental, como también se le conoce; con su voz inconfundible a través del canto, se unió al pueblo zuliano para expresar en forma de protesta las afecciones colectivas para que de alguna manera estas fuesen escuchadas retumbando en las emisoras radiales, canales de televisión y en los diferentes conciertos ofrecidos a miles de personas que han mostrado el agrado por dicho género musical y por ende por este intérprete que supo ganarse el cariño de un gran público que aun después de muerto continúa admirándole y sus canciones siguen siendo más escuchadas que nunca.
Ricardo Aguirre was not only a singer, he was also a composer, arranger, teacher and orchestra conductor. El Monumental, as he was also known; with his unmistakable voice through singing, he joined the people of Zulia to express in the form of protest the collective affections so that somehow these could be heard on radio stations, television channels and in the different concerts offered to thousands of people who have shown their liking for this musical genre and therefore for this performer who knew how to win the affection of a large audience that even after his death continues to admire him and his songs are still more listened to than ever.
Si hay un legado que este gran cantante zuliano dejara, son sus canciones de las cuales hoy quiero compartir con ustedes tres grandes éxitos que no pasarán de moda, ni dejaran de ser escuchadas por el pueblo venezolano y que para mi son de gran valor porque traen recuerdos inolvidables a mi mente. Pero antes de iniciar con estas canciones quiero resaltar que la gaita es un género musical del estado Zulia-Venezuela, contando con una estructura literaria de tres versos octosílabos y un estribillo, es música tradicional por estar vinculada a la época decembrina, está ha originado tanta conmoción en el público que ha sido declarada como “Patrimonio Cultural de Venezuela” desde el año 2014 por ser el género más original y completo a nivel cultural u musical en todo el país.

La Grey Zuliana
Un tema lleno de sentimiento y devoción, el cual fue bautizado como el Himno Gaitero. Su letra está llena de sentimientos encontrados debido a que el tema habla de la situación económico-social, el cual se vivía en el momento, y al mismo tiempo reafirma la devoción hacia la Virgen de Chiquinquirá, patrona del pueblo zuliano. Aunque la música en sí no es alegre como otras gaitas, este tema pegó desde sus inicios y ha pasado de generación en generación hasta llegar a los actuales momentos como uno de los más sonados en los hogares venezolanos.
A song full of feeling and devotion, which was baptized as the "Himno Gaitero". Its lyrics are full of mixed feelings because the song speaks of the economic-social situation, which was being experienced at the time, and at the same time reaffirms the devotion to the Virgin of Chiquinquirá, patron saint of the people of Zulia. En mi hogar nunca ha faltado este tipo de música que alegra las fiestas navideñas y esta canción por lo general es uno de los primeros en ser escuchados por la letra con la cual tanto nos identificamos, además que trae recuerdos a mi mente de mi niñez donde estaba toda la familia reunida, escuchar esta canción me traslada completamente a esa época maravillosa donde tuve el honor de compartir con personas que ya no se encuentran presentes, pero que por medio de esta canción puedo fácilmente revivirlos entre mis recuerdos.

Canción que relata la historia de la aparición de la virgen de Chiquinquirá, también conocida como la Chinita, posee una música muy pegajosa, además de la admiración y devoción de los zulianos hacia la Virgen.

Esta canción me hace recordar mi época de estudios de primaria, ya que al llegar la navidad se programaban los parrandones donde cada colegio participaba tanto en las misas de aguinaldos como en festivales que se realizaban en la plaza Bolívar de la ciudad y una de las canciones que cantábamos era esta en honor a la Virgen de Chiquinquirá con la doble intención de que conociéramos la historia de su aparición y, por otra parte, que se le tuviese amor a lo nuestro.
This song reminds me of my elementary school days, because when Christmas came, the parrandones were scheduled where each school participated both in the aguinaldos masses and in festivals that were held in the Bolivar square of the city and one of the songs we sang was this one in honor of the Virgin of Chiquinquira with the dual intention that we knew the story of her appearance and, on the other hand, that we had love for what was ours.

Como su letra lo indica, es una canción para comenzar un buen parrandón con fuerza y animar a los presentes por la movida música y letra que posee, es una canción que anima, pero al mismo tiempo pone a bailar a quienes la escuchan por ese sabroso son que genera al sentido del oído inclusive, incita a cantarla, para mí esta canción caracteriza a los zulianos dados que su gentilicio es ser personas chicharacheras, alegres y llevan la música en las venas.
