Welcome to week 155 of
#hiveopenmic, it's easy to say but each week has been loaded with a lot of talent and learning, sharing one of the most wonderful things in the universe: Music.
This week the theme of DNA summons us, which made me think about what topic could coincide with this, and well, I had to search a lot in my database, luckily I was born in a home surrounded by very talented musicians, and a father who was always showing us a record that he bought every week, so I could know the great composers of classical music, opera, concertos, symphonies and countless works and melodies that stayed with me forever.
I remember that the album was a gift from my father, and when he listened to it, he was very surprised, because it was not the usual Silvio Rodríguez, with his guitar and his powerful melodies and verb, but the symphonic Silvio, because this entire musical production was composed and recorded with and for orchestra.
I also remember my father saying that if this author had been born in the Middle Ages, he would surely be one of the classics of humanity.
It is the song Expedition, from the album with the same name, a song that has had some very particular interpretations, but that, my personal reading inevitably led me to the theme of this week's
#openmic: DNA.
I hope you enjoy it, I added some editing backgrounds to try to beautify the image, despite my face, although my daughter says that with that face, "There is no software there".

Expedition
We travel through the storm,
after the explosion of God.
Each flash of lightning shows us
phantasmagoric of love.

On board this expedition
is a madman, a bricklayer,
a necromancer, a nightingale
