Hi Hive Community, welcome to Sound Music's Praise and Worship week 42. I will like to start by giving a shout out to @godaddict who choose "The blood" as the theme of the week. Also not to forget @stefy.music for this initiative and for holding this community together, more grease to your elbows.
My name is @giftdawo, i will be singing a titled "nothing but the blood" by Robert Lowry.

Hebrews 9:21-22 (KJV) Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.
And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
The importance of Jesus christ dying in the cross to save mankind cannot be overemphasised, as you can see from the passage above only through sacrifice can there be forgiveness and remission. Jesus came down from Heaven in the form of flesh and die for the salvation of us humans which is the ultimate sacrifice, which can be found in a further reading of hebrew 9:23-28.

The song "Nothing but the Blood of Jesus", inspired by 1 John 1: 7 which says "but if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the Blood of Jesus purifies us from all sin" is a classic Christian hymm which was written in the year 1986. The song is based on the experiences of the writer as a preacher and musician. The core message of the song emphasis the importance of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and the power in "the Blood" to forgive and redeem us from our sins. The writer, who was a minister with the Baptist Church in America, was born in 1826 and died in 1899.

It is very important to acknowledge the sacrifice that Jesus did for humanity to be saved, this was done out of God's love for His creation. The only price we have to pay is to obey His commandment, and to worship Him in Spirit and in truth, for at the last day we all will be asked to account for this borrwed time we have on Earth.
