RE: Lollapalooza?

Sadly, I think I was too late to the party with Lollapalooza, as it was already heavily commercialized by the time it was on my radar. Usually I would just try to see the bands that were in town at a smaller venue somewhere in the city. I always appreciated the intimate setting a bit more anyway for bands I actually really cared to see. I did go to a few Warped Tours and other smaller festivals back in the day that were a ton of fun, and certainly still fringe, its been awhile though. I have a few friends that are still in the hardcore and metal scene in Chicago, and I know there are still people slamming around in the mud, just at much less-publicized events.
