The 3 Podcateros #9 - What men do for love (Granade - Bruno Mars) [Esp/Eng]
After a long time since recording this, I finally edited it. In this podcast #9 (Los 3 Podcateros, featuring @kelvinspace, @leogomez1414 and myself @gerzon), we discussed a topic about love, or rather heartbreak, titled “What Men are willing to do for love”. We discussed this by analyzing a Bruno Mars song called "Grenade".
We used a Spanish cover to better aid the analysis, then we shared our opinions and personal experiences.

Recording Anecdote:
We recorded the podcast using Zoom, which was managed by our friend @leogomez1414. It turns out that the first time after we finished recording, he told us he forgot to press the record button. So we recorded it again, and guess what, it happened again 😁. This forced us to record it a third time. I was already a bit tired, but it was necessary to finish it because it's been difficult for us to get together. I liked the result, and I took so long to do the editing that my co-hosts probably don't even remember it well anymore.
We would like to leave you with these questions and hear about your experiences. You can answer any of them:

Después de mucho tiempo de haber grabado esto, por fin lo edité. En este podcast #9 (Los 3 Podcateros, integrados por @kelvinspace, @leogomez1414 y mi persona @gerzon), tratamos un tema de amor, o más bien desamor, titulado “Lo que los Hombres estamos dispuestos a hacer por amor”. Esto lo tratamos analizando una canción de Bruno Mars llamada Granade.
Usamos un cover en español para hacer mejor el análisis, luego dimos nuestras opiniones y experiencias personales.

Anécdota de grabación:
El podcast lo grabamos usando Zoom, que fue administrado por nuestro amigo @leogomez1414. Resulta que la primera vez después que se terminó de grabar, nos comenta que se paso pulsar al botón de grabar. Así que lo grabamos otra vez, y adivinen, volvió a pasar otra vez 😁.
Esto nos obligó a grabarlo una tercera vez, yo ya estaba algo cansado, pero fue necesario terminarlo, porque nos ha costado un poco reunirnos. El resultado me gustó, tardé tanto en realizar la edición, que seguramente mis compañeros ya ni se acuerden bien.
Nos gustaría dejarles estás preguntas, y conocer sus experiencias, pueden responder la que quieran:
• ¿Qué cosas han hecho por amor?
• ¿Qué serían capaces de hacer por amor?
• ¿Quién ama más, la mujer o el hombre? (nosotros decimos lo hombres, ¿qué opinan?)
Esto lo realizamos con mucho cariño, dedicado a todos aquellos que hemos vivido situaciones de desamor importantes en nuestra vida. Aunque a veces nos debilitemos o caigamos, ten presente que eres muy valioso o valiosa, no queda más que levantarse con la mejor cara, pasar la página, y continuar.

I think many women wonder what men are willing to do for love, which is why this topic is interesting, especially to hear your three personal opinions.
I believe that if you truly, truly love someone, you would do anything, even give your life. I believe that words like “I love you” must be accompanied by actions; words can be deceiving, but actions cannot. That is why the interpretation of this song refers to that topic. It is not easy to take that step back that they talk about in the video.
As for the questions you leave, I think that both demonstrate love in different ways; it's not that one is more than the other, but that they are totally different. It's a complex issue, because not everyone is the same. I think that in general, both men and women show their love when they truly love someone. Men, by nature, tend to be more protective.
Every breakup hurts, especially in the way described here. It happened to me, and apparently to Leo and Kelvin as well. Many of us have been through it.

Una vez besé a una chica cuando era adolescente y de repente se le salió una risa de esas incontenibles, que antes de salir la risa sus labios se movieron rápidamente hasta expulsar los míos y salpicarme con su saliva toda la cara y luego se le salió la carcajada. Yo quedé tan sorprendido y asqueado, ella se disculpaba una y otra vez pero ya el daño estaba hecho, me cortó todo y por más que insistió no pude volver a besarla. Fue horrible.
Hablando de la canción y las opiniones, me gusta que nunca generalizaron a la mujer o al hombre, tal cual como dijo uno de ustedes, hay mujeres malas y hombres malos, lo mismo para ambos. Hay que cuidarse, primero el amor propio para poder dar amor a los demás.

Once, when I was a teenager, I kissed a girl and suddenly she burst out laughing uncontrollably. Before she laughed, her lips moved quickly to push mine away and spray my whole face with her saliva, and then she burst out laughing. I was so surprised and disgusted. She apologized over and over again, but the damage was already done. She broke up with me, and no matter how much she insisted, I couldn't kiss her again. It was horrible.
Speaking of the song and the opinions, I like that they never generalized about women or men. As one of you said, there are bad women and bad men, the same for both. You have to take care of yourself, first your self-esteem, in order to be able to give love to others.
