Hey bro, this is one of the most impressive posts I've read and listened to today, there's so much power in every song. I realised I didn't have Hate To Say I Told You So on my punk playlist, what a sin!!!! But thanks to you it has come to me again, I always loved the sound of The Hives, even though my parents hated them for their singing hahahahaha. Soundgarden are a classic that will always play at home when we want to rock out, but I confess I didn't know Pixies music, I guess they didn't have much promotion in my area at the time or I was just too young 🤣 but wow they sound good, this is a great selection of songs 🤘
It’s interesting, if the Pixies hadn’t broken up in 1992 and did one more record they’d of caught that alternative mainstream wave in 1993. Just missed it. But ironically they are cited as a favorite band by many bands. Even Kurt from Nirvana said he basically stole there sound. Man just think 1993, pixies would have been huge but the band ended in 1992. Great gem of a band indeed!

What punk bands do u like?
Wow bro! They really missed the commercial boom of the genre, but it's good that the big guys give it credits, no wonder I didn't know them, I was still in the cradle hahaha... Well, my approach to punk is more commercial, since I was very MTV at the end of the 90's and beginning of the 2000's. I love Blink 182. Green Day and The Offspring, but on my playlist there is music from New Found Glory, Sex Pistols, Ramones, Sum 41 and The Vines. I think that several of the bands that I like are not necessarily punk, but they do have a lot of that genre, I just know that among the wide range of rock subgenres, punk has my favorite sound, and then new metal. I am not an expert, but what came into my life in those years is a treasure for me.

I always liked this one which wasn’t a universal favorite. It’s actually pretty Much a pop new wave song but I like a lot.
