Here’s three 1985 released gems for your 1980’s alternative playlist! I bet u know one or two but I went for the lesser known gems! Three of my favorite songs ever! Figured I’d pick a theme and went with 1985!

Hey, you were right. The only one of these I’ve heard before is Killing Joke’s Eighties. I think I heard it first on a NatGeo show about the eighties. I loved Good Good Things by Descendents, I think I’ll use it for a new 1980s playlist.

Descendents are mostly fast punk songs, but this song and another called Sour Grapes have a halfway New Wave vibe mixed in. I thought you’d like it 👍

It’s the guys from Descendents but with different singer. The singer went to become a scientist and got his masters degree (Not A Joke) but I think these went the direction of the sound you liked ⬇️

I often think it’s such a shame cause the guitarist , bass , drummer are the same guys. When they started ALL it was like starting over. If Milo the Descendents singer hadn’t left I bet they’d if been bigger with the way the sound went.
