Ashlee picks the band Metric and there first album 2003’s “Old World Underground, Where Are You Now?”. Picking the song Dead Disco for DailyJam! For BonusJam the song Combat Baby.

I (Gene) pick the band Shiny Toy Guns and there 2006 record “We Are Pilots”. Picking the song Rainy Monday for DailyJam & the song You Are The One as my BonusJam!

Hey guys, I liked both songs by Metric (although I’ve never heard from them before). A band with a girl singer is always cool. Here goes one from the past decade you might have missed out. It has a killer synth.

Metric and Shiny Toy Guns, Niiiice!!! I can dig 'em 4sure.

I know both bands from Pandora. Years ago I had Pandy make me a channel based on Freezepop who I have always liked since I saw some school kids make a video for Science Genius Girl on YouTube many years ago.

So natch they play me lots of Freezepop, but also bands like Metric, Shiny Toy Guns, Birthday Massacre, i am jen, Missing Persons, Ladytron, etc etc.
