6/28/25 - 🎸Gene & Ashlees Eighties Saturday DailyJams! New Wave & Post Punk England Tunes! DailyJams! 🎸
It’s Eighties Saturday! Me & Ashlee will pick DailyJams from the eighties!
Doing a joint post @geneeverett & @ashleesart 🎸💿
We’ll pick bands from the post punk or what not scene. Some call it New Wave.
Ashlee picks the Cure and a song off the 1985 record The Head On the Door. Choosing the classic tune So Close To Me. For Bonus Jam it’s the Smiths and the song Pretty Girls Make Graves from the self titled 1984 album “The Smiths”.
Gene also leans toward the British band theme and picks the band The Jam for his DailyJam, how fitting. Picking the song “That’s Entertainment” from the 1980 released album “Sound Affects”. For Bonus Jam it’s the song True Faith from the 1985 record Substance from the band New Order!
Hope you enjoyed!
#EightiesSaturday & Alt2k Wednesday we usually don’t do a vlog and keep it simple just picking songs we wanna share and breaking down the albums , bands & songs. But if you want basically a @geneeverett podcast talking music, come by here for Three Tune Tuesday & Nineties Friday! That’s where I really get into the deep cut information! - Cheers!

Ashlee is the baddest!
Love these!
When old music is performed in a new way, people like it a lot. The same is now being done in our country too.
@appreciator
Much appreciation & thanks for the support!
These selections are quite good
This is real enjoying music without much concentration in selecting what flows together. When music flows from the depth its lovely. Kudos
