Gene & Ashlee are back with Alt2k Wednesday! Each picking a DailyJam & Bonus Jam from a 2000’s alternative artist or band.

Ashlee picks the Yeah Yeah Yeahs for DailyJam and goes with Zero , the opening track from the third record “ It's Blitz!” released in 2009. For Bonus Jam it’s a 2000’s release from the band Garbage, a band from the nineties Ashlee loves but today we’ll check out there later stuff. It’s the song Cherry Lips from the 2001 & third release from the band “ Beautiful Garbage”.

Gene picks Arcade Fire for DailyJam & chooses the song Ready To Start from the 2010 (and winner of album of the year Grammy) album The Suburbs. For Bonus Jam I’ll go with The Killers and a song off there 2004 first record “Hot Fuss”. I’ll go with the lesser known fourth single Smile Like You Mean It.
