It’s interesting, we mainly hear about the New York CBGB 1979’s scene & the eighties scene in Southern California. Chicago had a scene that goes largely unnoticed. Then the DC scene is actually what Dave Grohl came out of before going to Seattle In 1990. Definitely more a hardcore sound. Lots of hidden gems most haven’t heard indeed!
