10/28/25 - 👻 A Very Halloween Vibe Three Tune Tuesday! 🎃 Picking Classic Horror Punk Tunes From The Misfits 🎃 Legendary Misfits Classics! 👻

On this Halloween week 🎃 Three Tune Tuesday I’m picking tunes from the classic band The Misfits! The horror punk legends fit right in with Halloween eeek!

I covered a few of the bands tunes in my eighties Saturday post but I saved the best three for Three Tune Tuesday! I picked three classic Misfits tunes from the early eighties!
I’ll do a deep dive in vlog below!

I usually break it down by album & band but since it’s all Misfits tunes and mostly same original record I’ll not add and repeat the extra info each time. I’ll explain in vlog but yeah it’s a mess how off the table most early releases were. All songs by the Misfits! I’ll add year released below. But just know the first few records are nowhere to be found on streaming and it’s quite hard to find even the original release dates. All these songs can be found on streaming platforms via being on later compilations, just search song title with band name but start with the album titled “Collection” & “Collection 2” which look like this ⬇️

I picked versions cut with classic horror movie footage playing in video! Feel free to skip the intros.

Released - 1979
Originally On - Night of the Living Dead Single but was also on the 1981 record. (It gets so confusing with this band as none of the stuff is online and most was limited pressed singles)

And we can’t have a Misfits Halloween vibe Three Tune Tuesday without the actual Misfits song titled Halloween!

Finding original releases for most these tunes was trying to find this ⬇️

5000 limit releases singles, so I did best I could! But all tunes are on streaming via the two Collection albums I shared above. It’s really a shame the first full length album recorded in 1978 didn’t get released by label. There is an alt history where the Misfits are even more important and maybe would have been in same breath as Ramones!
