On this DailyJam Saturday it’s #EightiesSaturday 🎹 and we are going full #NewWave vibes this morning!

Some say New Wave is corny but some great tunes were written in NewWave eighties synth sounds. There’s plenty of trash In this scene no doubt but not it all! Below me & Ashlee pick one hand each and two tunes from said band! Enjoy! 🎸

Ashlee picks the band Talk Talk who she originally discovered from No Doubt covering one of there songs in 2003. She picks that song “It’s My Life” from the 1984 album with same name (It’s My Life) for second tune it’s the song Talk Talk, yes same name as the band! It’s from the debut album 1982’s The Party’s Over.

Gene goes with the well known hit I Ran from the band A Flock of Seagulls from there debut album also out in 1982. For second song it’s Wishing which was on the follow up second album “Listen”
