Ashlee’s Three Tune Tuesday Punk Rock Picks’ 🎸 Plus A Special Guest Also Picking Three Punk Tunes!

I thought it would be fun to do a joint post with Gene and each pick three songs. Punk rock is the only rule! Can be from any era at all, just must be punk rock. We are not going to compare until we pick. Will be interesting if we pick same bands or not. Ok we’ll be back! Oh one more rule, each tune just be from a different decade!

My (Ashlee’s) Tunes picked are from three separate decades. First up I went with MxPx and the 1998 released song Under Lock & Key. Second I picked the Descendents and there 1982 song Hope, famously covered by Sublime! Ah that will be my bonus pick! Third I picked Green Day and the song Holiday from 2004 record American Idiot. I figured Gene would do seventies so I kept mine eighties/nineties/2000’s. Gene just told me his picks and we were on point for two outta three! Wild!

Gene taking over now! I picked MxPx song My Mom Still Cleans My Room (1996). Second up I picked the Descendents song Clean Sheets from 1987 record “ALL”. third I went with 1977 tune Teenage Lobotomy from the Ramones!

We missed one and went seventies versus 2000’s. But on the other two we picked same bands! Just different albums. Not to bad honestly. Ok ok here are the tunes ⬇️
