11/26/24 Three Tune Tuesday 🎸 DailyJam Morning Edition Of Gene & Ashlee’s Morning Music Picks! 🎸

On this #ThreeTuneTuesday edition of DailyJam’s with Gene & Ashlee we are picking songs from the year 2000. We are trying something new today that I think we’ll do often on regular days going forward. We each will pick an album 💿 so example on Three Tune Tuesday we do 3 picks each and a bonus set of picks. So we’ll each pick 4 albums today 3 for our main picks and a bonus pick. The rules are whoever picks the record the other gets to pick there selection first. The theme today is the year 2000 and Pop Punk vibes. So if Ashlee goes first I get to pick any song I want. This way it’s annoying to just pick one record with one great song and a bunch of filler!

First up! Ashlee picks Good Charlotte’s first album ever!

Gene’s pick is the song “East Coast Anthem”
This album was before there 2002 follow-up where they had massive mainstream success.

Next up it’s Gene’s record pick with the band Millencolin & there 2000 released record Pennybridge Pioneers

Ashlee picks first and grabs the song “ Fox”

Gene picks the opening track “No Cigar”
A killer tune which was also popular from being featured in Tony Hawk’s sk8er video game!

Back to Ashlee who picks Green Day album Warning (2000)

Gene picks the tune “ Blood, Sex and Booze”

Ashlee picks the song “Waiting” which was the third radio single following Minority & Warning!

Last up it’s our bonus round picks. Gene picks the 2000 album Horrorscope from Eve6.

Ashlee picks “Here's to the Night” which was a pop crossover hit single. Definitely a pop ballad and unlike most the bands work.

Gene picks the opening track again and goes with the tune “Rescue”. A high energy opening tune! Definitely a great opening track for a live show!
