The rooftop concert, The Beatles' last concert

On January 30, 1969, The Beatles performed an iconic concert from the rooftop of the Apple Corps headquarters, located at 3 Savile Row, in the heart of London.
Accompanied by guest keyboardist Billy Preston, the band performed a 42-minute set before the Metropolitan Police interrupted the performance, following complaints from neighbors due to excessive volume. This event marked the last public performance of their career.
During the concert, The Beatles performed five new songs in nine takes, while a crowd of spectators, many on their lunch breaks, gathered in the streets and on the rooftops of nearby buildings to enjoy the show.

The idea for the event came from Paul McCartney, who wanted to test Get Back with a live audience.
The performance culminated with this song, and John Lennon, with his characteristic humor, joked, “I'd like to thank you on behalf of the group and ourselves, and I hope we passed the audition.”
The entire event was recorded and filmed, and the footage was used in the 1970 documentary “Let It Be,” as well as in the 2021 documentary series “The Beatles: Get Back.”

The first performance of “I've Got a Feeling” and individual takes of “One After 909” and “Dig a Pony” were also included on the album that accompanied the documentary.
On January 28, 2022, the full audio of the rooftop performance was released on streaming platforms under the title “Get Back - The Rooftop Performance”.
Subsequently, in February 2022, Disney presented the full concert sequence in IMAX format as “The Beatles: Get Back - The Rooftop Concert”.
This event not only became a milestone in music history, but also left an indelible mark on popular culture, symbolizing the innovative spirit and enduring influence of The Beatles.
