Led Zeppelin have stunned the music world by announcing that they will release a new album before the end of 2025.
This is the first hint of new material in over 40 years, which has generated great excitement among fans and critics alike.
The announcement was made via a statement on their social media, where they said: ‘We have been working on something very special. This album reflects our current situation, both musically and personally’.
The band's founding members, Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones, have kept a low profile since Led Zeppelin disbanded after the death of drummer John Bonham in 1980.
Although they have had a few reunions, such as their memorable performance at the O2 Arena in 2007, the possibility of a new album seemed a distant dream.

However, recent rumours of studio sessions with Plant and Page, along with the possible involvement of Jones, have rekindled hope among fans.
There is speculation that Jason Boham, son of the late Jhon, who has been with them on other shows, will be on drums.
Although production details are limited, there is speculation that the album will fuse the classic Led Zeppelin sound with a more modern approach.
With the promise of including both old and new material, fans are eager to find out what surprises this new chapter in the iconic band's history will bring.
