“Into the Wild”, Uriah Heep's 22nd studio album

On April 12, 2011, the album entitled “Into the Wild”, the 22nd studio album by iconic British rock band Uriah Heep, was released in Japan.
This album was initially released in Japan by Universal Music Japan in SHM-CD format, which includes 12 tracks, while in Europe it was released on April 15, 2011 by Frontiers Records with 11 tracks on a standard CD.
Subsequently, the album arrived in America on May 3, 2011. To promote the album, a video for the single “Nail on the Head” was released.
On its debut, “Into The Wild” managed to enter at No. 32 on the German media charts, marking the band's best entry in Germany since their golden era, according to Blabbermouth.

To support the release, Uriah Heep embarked on a tour, starting in the United States in June.
However, lead vocalist Bernie Shaw had to pull out of some dates due to health problems, being temporarily replaced by former vocalist John Lawton.
This album is also significant, as it is the last to feature bassist Trevor Bolder, who passed away in 2013.
