‘Infinite’ is Deep Purple's twentieth studio album. After 55 years of history, it is truly admirable that they continue to produce fresh and creative material, keeping their essence intact.
The secret to their success lies in the songwriting philosophy they have adopted over the years.
Their love of music, coupled with their accumulated experience, allows them to create without the pressures often faced by other artists.
This approach results in an art that flows naturally. The figures speak for themselves: ‘Infinite’ has achieved three gold certifications in Germany, Hungary and Poland, as well as topping the charts in Switzerland.

The album is distinguished by its delicacy and the fusion of 70s sounds with a contemporary twist, as can be heard on tracks such as ‘Hip Boots’ and ‘All I Got Is You’. ‘One Night in Vegas‘ pays homage to “50s R&B and rockabilly, while ”Birds of Prey’ offers impressive solos by Steve Morse.
The five members that made up this album were: Ian Gillan, vocals, Steve Morse, guitar, Roger Glover, bass, Ian Pice, drums and Don Airey, keyboards.
Although ‘Infinite’ is not considered a masterpiece, it does demonstrate Deep Purple's ability to continue creating great compositions.
Their discography is a legacy that deserves to be enjoyed without prejudice.
