Right from my childhood, I have always been a lover of gospel music. I absolutely love it and enjoyed everything about gospel music. Listening to gospel music helps to set my mind on God and draws me closer to Him. Gospel music is music that is composed to glorify God. It is very powerful and plays a lot of vital role in my daily life. Listening and singing gospel music is one of the ways that I worship and praise God for who He is, for what he has done in my life, and for what he is about to do in my life. I cannot imagine my life without listening to gospel music because whenever I listen to gospel music, I feel blessed. My heart is filled with a lot of joy, happiness, and comfort that is impossible for me to find in other types of music.

Although I’m the kind of person who believes that music is music, whether gospel or secular, I listen to both. I don’t hate or classify secular music as totally bad music. I do believe that secular music also has some kind of songs that we can listen to that can positively impact our lives with their beautiful messages of love, hope, and unity. For example, songs like 'What a Wonderful World' by Louis Armstrong and 'One Love' by Bob Marley are great examples. However, gospel music remains the best for me, everything about it is wonderful and powerful. The lyrics mostly come in the form of words of God and hymns. And they can never go wrong or mislead us.

Most people listen to gospel music mostly on Sunday morning alone and find it very hard to listen to it on other days of the week. However, I enjoy listening to gospel music every time, every day, and at any time of the day. Whenever I wake up in the morning, I always start my day with gospel music. Whenever I'm at work, at home, or alone, I always listen to gospel music. Singing and listening to gospel music is one of the ways I can use to express my gratitude to God for his loving, kindness, and goodness over my life. I never think there's a way I will listen to gospel music that I will never remember the good thing that God has done or His doing in my life. Gospel music is the best kind of music that can be used to glorify and celebrate the goodness of God in our lives.

Another reason why I love gospel music more than secular songs is that through gospel music we can receive blessings, grace, and every good thing from God. Singing gospel music is like offering a word of prayer to God. We can use gospel music to call on God and seek his divine intervention in our lives. The lyrics of gospel music usually come in the form of prayers of thanksgiving, dedication, and supplication.
