Hello beautiful people of this community. Welcome to Hiveopenmic week 213. I'm super excited to be here again. My name is g2comfort. Our theme for this week is SELF LOVE as given by our spotlight artist for this week @maitt87. In respect to our theme for this week, I will be presenting a cover of a song by Nigerian Afro-soul superstar, ASA titled GOOD THING. This song was released in the year 2019 off her 4th studio album titled Lucid. This song is an amazing song which I really loved listening to and this song talks about recognizing your worth and having trust, confidence and pride in yourself.

One thing I love about this song is that the lyrics of this song talks about a story of a woman who choose to love herself and move on after an unhealthy relationship. After realizing her value, she decided to spread her wings and fly away from a lover who did not appreciate and cherished her. In the chorus of this song, she boosted that her lover is about to lose a Good thing.

Overall, this song is a well composed song, and soulful melodies one, that make us understand that self-love is the key to happy life. It is therefore important for us to keep loving ourself.
