You Matter❤

Words are powerful, they can make or break a person depending on the type of word and the tone it is being used.

The right kind of words can brighten someone's heart and make their day or even positively change them forever.

Words should be chosen wisely and always be kind when we are relating to others. Though I'm not an expert in this aspect, I'm a work in progress.

Imagine having a tough day, and someone walks up to you at the parking lot, after exchanging pleasantries, she/he slips a little card into your palm, you read through it, and some kind words that melt your heart are found on it.

I bet you will forget your troubles for a few seconds, and possibly take a deep breath. In that moment you feel noticed and loved, by just a few written words.

Or someone says nice words to compliment your great effort. These are the little things that make our world better. It might not end right there, as that simple act of kindness might trigger you to want to pay it forward because you just realize how much impact some few kind words can have on others and you want them to experience the magic just as you do.

An encounter like that is what happened to Cheryl Rice, the founder of the You Matter Marathon

After reading her announcement post, her words touched my heart, I felt so much connected, her write-up is further proof of what hive is all about, every one of us, striving in our little ways to make the world a better place.

That took me down memory lane to a song that inspired me so much since seven years ago.

Though it's been a while since I played it, I had to dig it out to enjoy its melody once again and let the lyrics inspire me once more.

Seven years have passed since I first listened to this song, but I still find myself coming back for more because it passed such a powerful message to humanity.

In a world, where we seem very disconnected, sometimes it is necessary to remind ourselves of how much we need to unite, how much we need one another, and how important it is that we see each other as one. No matter where we are from, every one of us is important and we all matter.
