There Is Always Going To Be Another Mountain

I was speaking to a friend of mine the other day, whom I thought was supposed to be very excited on the phone given that she just got a big promotion. Hearing her voice, she almost sounded like somebody who was mourning the loss of a loved one.

Yes, I love her for being very ambitious and a goal-getter but I was at least looking forward to her celebrating such a big win, so I was shocked when she felt so pessimistic on the phone. Comparing herself to some of her mates who have gone more far than she is. Well, maybe she was just being modest but at least I was expecting her to celebrate such a big win.

I'm at the point where I'm so close to something I have been pursuing for a very long time and right now, Everything feels so tough and very challenging. My faith is shaken and my mind is full of doubts.

But deep down, I know I just have to keep my faith, I know I just have to push some more to achieve my goals.

I do not only have to keep moving but I have to continue to find ways to enjoy the process, because, at the end of the day, it's not going to be all about the end goal but also, not getting lost during the whole process.

This is just how our life is, an uphill journey, and a battlefield with a rewarding view at the end for those who keep on moving. We are always going to have something we are pursuing, another hill after hill, another mountain after mountain and sometimes we have the image in our head but might be filled with doubts, a voice In our head might be telling us it can't be done.

Most of our moves might seem not to be in the right direction, and sometimes we even get knocked down but in all of these we must remember not to give up, we must be strong, be reliant, and keep moving.

Here is a song called The Climb by Miley Cyrus, it captures perfectly how I feel right now and it is such a sweet and inspiring melody.

It was like the universe was speaking to me when I pumped into it by chance a few days back on Tick Tock.

Miley tries to tell us with Climb that life is very challenging but can be very rewarding at the same time. Life is an adventure and that is what makes it interesting. An uphill climb with rewarding views for those who continue to move, overcome their obstacles on the way, and strive to reach the end of the line.

This song kind of reminds me why I started in the first place and why I have to see things to the very end. It filled me with lots of inspiration, positivity, and reassurance that I can win if I keep on pushing.

So I don't know who needs to hear this, do your best and enjoy this ride called life. Do not focus only on the end game but open your heart and enjoy the whole process, and every progress of whatever it is you are pursuing. Because when you learn how to do that, then, you are living. If not, one is just another soul who only lives his/her life on the tomorrow that may never come because there is always going to be another mountain after mountain.

And oh, imagine someone who is climbing a mountain and all he cares about is the top of the mountain view, forgetting to enjoy all the beautiful views on his way to the top, that could amount to a great loss, right?

I think we can't completely define life and our existence without mentioning the troubles after troubles. It's just now life is, there's never an ending to the hurdles except one is no longer interested in setting and pursuing goals.

This is just beautiful and I love how inspiring your post is. There is a saying that we cannot control the challenges that comes to us but we can control how we choose to react to them. Yes, there would be situations that overwhelms our mind, wanting to take the hope away from us, that is the time we need to let our faith become stronger.

Sometimes, I feel I am not doing the right thing and in another thought, I would only ask for the strength to keep going. Trusting the process and even God is important. God sees every of our struggles and we must never give up because someday, we will come to appreciate the journey.

Well said sis. And yes it is. Troubles / problems after one another, from when we're kids till adulthood. Everyone has their own adventure book to write down these awesome experience. Sometime i even wonder why we live as well. But sis, I believe we live our lives for a reason. To experience what the other dont. God bless sis. 💕💕

In this life, there are many hills upon hills we may encounter as we continue to climb, we might meet obstacles that could demolarise us but having an open mind to enjoy the process is good instead of only focusing on the end road, otherwise we may feel unnecessary overwhelmed.

One thing I have learnt about life is how to cope with challenges especially when things don't go as planned. I believe no matter how difficult it is to keep moving we must remind ourselves the reason why we started in the first place. Moreover while chasing our dreams there is something called "effect of the process", true growth is not about the end result but the lessons we are able to accumulate during the process of chasing our goals and objectives.

I don't know why people still compare themselves with others, it is one the major sources of unhappiness.

This has been your position right from time. It is so inspiring and fulfilling. The journey of life is comprises of different layers. One has to enjoy each layer and not wait until all the peak is reached before deriving satisfaction and sense accomplishment. Else one would remain sad for the better part of his life.

Life in this present system is marked with challenges, it has even been called part of life, this is not what God wanted for humans, life was supposed to be perfect, Thank God for the promise of restoration.
