Johnny Drille Has Been Giving Me Westlife's Kind Of Vibes
Hello, music lovers 😊 thank you for joining me once again as I share with you some very interesting songs I have come to love from a singer who has been giving me Westlife kind of vibes.
Have you ever felt goosebumps when a particular song is being played underground while you are watching a movie? You felt it so much that you began to ask Which song is this? And nothing is going to stop you from going on a search party for it if necessary, hehe.
That was what happened to me some time ago, I was watching this romantic movie, you know, as a lover girl, the song, Romeo and Juliet, was playing softly while the two love birds in the movie were connecting emotionally.
That led me to a question, who is this singer and discovered someone I have come to love and cherish his talent. I must find out more about this song I said, "because, this kind of sweet melody must not pass me by". Laye! Laye!! In my Naija voice🤭
That was when I came to find out about Johnny Drille the only Nigerian singer who is currently giving me the Westlife kind of vibe.
Growing up in the early 2000s I used to soak myself in the sweet melody, and love songs of Westlife. I learned and knew a lot of their lyrics for heart, and up till now, some live rent-free in my head. They somehow influence how I love those special to me. Through their songs, I somehow realized that love comes with a lot of sacrifices but in the end, it will all be worth it. Those guys made loving someone very easy for me, as well as made my growing up very beautiful and interesting and for that, I can never thank them enough.
Early this year, Johnny Drille released a new song called For You a song I can simply call new pickup lines 😍
He made it for his newborn baby girl. As a parent, there is nothing that can compare to holding your bundle of joy, and wondering if all this bunch of blessings are yours. Because you feel in such a way you never felt before and for that, you are thankful that such a blessing comes your way.
To see Johnny Drille pure out all his feelings for his little angel in this song is so heartwarming. In one of his Tick Tock posts about his daughter, like every responsible parent, he prayed that God made him an amazing father to her, and no doubt I can tell he will make a wonderful dad.
This song can simply make a perfect pick for dedication to that special someone in our lives.
An interesting thing about this video is how only he appeared in the video, almost at the same spot but still able to captivate his audience's heart with his simplicity and his angelic voice.
In a musical industry where loud noise is the new normal, Johnny Drille's songs are like a breath of fresh air, to most especially those of us who love and cherish soulful songs.
You will have to agree when I say that, no matter the kind of day you are having, this song is simply the type that will leave you smiling at the end of the track and a must-have for anyone looking for pure musical bliss to add to their song collection.

This is beautifully written and I enjoyed every bit of it. I love good songs too and I don't hesitate to do my search whenever I hear of any. When watching a movie and I come across a sweet soundtrack, I would pause and search for the song, save it till I finished watching the movie, then listen to the song till when I am satisfied for the day.
I love how you described Johnny and his wish to become a good father which is a good thing.

I didn't really know this singer at first or should I say I didn't know he was a singer. The first time I saw him was in a tiktok video he did and sang about Valentine's day. I was captivated by his lyrics, melody and vocals, so I went in search of the lyrics in the tiktok video that was when I found out he is singer.
I don't know about many others but when it comes to dishing out heart warming lyrics with less noise in Nigeria, this guy will always be my first pick.
Haha, I just knew a lot of people would enjoy his style of music. I feel blessed by his melody you know.
I'm also a lover of Johnny Drille's music. I also saw that movie where Romeo and Juliet song came up, but my first encounter with his music is the song titled 'Wait for me' after listening to this, I just kept looking out for more of his songs. Thanks for this beautiful piece.
