Bloody Samaritan

I was watching Sadhguru on his YouTube channel, a man I have come to agree with a lot of his teaching on how to live a happier life. Talking about overcoming the need for comparison some time ago. I couldn't agree more when he said,

"You should not have a problem that someone else is doing something better than you, I'm always seeking people who can do things better than me because they make my life easier. He completes his statement accompanying a cheerful smile on his face.

And ends his video by saying; " The most fundamental thing is to fix your way of experiencing life, you're joyful by your nature, then you do whatever you want, participate in any kind of competition, but you're already blissful, now you will do the best you can."

If we think back to when we were created, we are never made to be the same. That is why we came in different colors, shapes, and heights, down to our fingerprints. Even identical twins still have some marks of difference when one observes closely. Our talents and gifts can be different. Everyone is uniquely made and that is what makes each one of us amazing.

The problem starts the moment we let our insecurity set in, and we begin to compare ourselves and our abilities to one another.

Healthy competition is a welcome idea for our personal growth and development but the moment we find ourselves sad about someone else's success, it becomes a terrible way to live.

Unfortunately, we see this play out a lot of time, among friends, coworkers, and even family members who are supposed to work together to leverage each other's efforts but are found working against each other due to envy and jealousy.

I was at the age of sixteen when I fell victimexperience an envious eye, from someone I thought was my friend. At least that was the first one I could recall.

I worked up on one school morning, picked up my school uniform, put it on, and found out that someone had laced it with (Crotalaria refusal)
devil beans the previous day when I sundried it outside after washing it. What saved the situation that day was the fact that I had a different pair of school uniforms.

In the end, I was shocked beyond explanation when I found out who had done that to me. When she confessed and asked for my forgiveness, she could not tell me a particular reason as to why she did what she did.

At first, I thought maybe it was somehow my fault she did that, but as I grew and gained more life experiences I realized that many times, people can dislike us and even try to bring us down, simply because they felt we are better than them, and it is left to us to not let their bad energy get to us, we must hold our head high and focus on the thing that matters.

We must keep our fire burning and focus on our goals. When someone comes at us, trying to drag us down, that is exactly when we have to stay stronger and keep on going.

In this light, I share with us today a beautiful song filled with positive energy and capable of changing our mood into a cheerful one, regardless of what is going on with us, or who and what is trying to pull us down.

It Is no other song than, Bloody Samaritan by Ayra Starr, Ayra is a whole energy of her own, her presence alone changes the whole room. She is sharing her blessings and gifts to the world and I'm happy she is singing in our present time.

Her unique voice is mesmerizing. One interesting thing about her voice is that the first time I heard her music, I thought she was a guy until the day I watched her video. Her song speaks to my heart and it holds lots of deep meaning, she always talks about things that everyday people can relate to.

I cherished the way she flows with her songs and Bloody Samaritan is my favorite so far.

Sometimes, this is my go-to song, and her other songs when I feel like I just want to dance and recharge my energy. And below is my favorite part of the lyric;

Everything' I desire, I go receive
My rhythm flows like a river

I hope that this brings lots of good vibes and positivity to you like it did to me if you can spare a little time to listen.

Whatever you do today, never let anything or anyone kill your vibes.❤🥰😊 Cheers🥂

We are all unique and different from other people. Healthy competition is good and we must maintain on that ground to let it inspire and motivate us. The truth is, not everyone will like us and this is why we also should not mind people like them but to keep doing what is right.
