¡Buenas mis estimados amantes de la música y en este caso de uno de los grupos más famosos del Metal! ¿Como están? espero de corazón que muy bien y con ganas de explorar uno de los grupos que más impacto la industria de la música en su tiempo y que no por anda, han mantenido una base de fans a lo largo de todo este tiempo, incluso después de haberse disuelto oficialmente en 2003, así es, hoy hablaremos de Pantera, uno de los grupos que se pueden considerar como fundadores o precursores de su propio genero que entre comillas es un mixto entre los que seria el Thrash Metal y la tendencias reinantes de los 90s, entre los que destacaban el Grunge, lago del Glam Metal y claro, la explosión del Numb, hoy veremos un poco de la historia del grupo, mientras exploramos sus canciones más famosas, ¡Así que comencemos mis hermanos!

I hope from the bottom of my heart that you are very well and eager to explore one of the bands that most impacted the music industry in its time and that not for nothing, have maintained a fan base throughout all this time, even after having officially disbanded in 2003, that's right, today we will talk about Pantera, one of the bands that can be considered as founders or precursors of their own genre that between quotes is a mix between what would be the Thrash Metal and the reigning trends of the 90s, among which highlighted the Grunge, Glam Metal lake and of course, the explosion of the Numb, today we will see a little of the history of the group, while we explore their most famous songs, So let's begin my brothers!
Pantera se fundo más o menos por el 1981 en humilde estudio texano y con sueño compartido de un par de hermanos, pero llama la atención poderosamente es que el estilo original de la banda no se parecía en nada a lo que se termino conociendo una década después, sobretodo cuando el bueno de Anselmo dejara su huella tan marcada en la banda con su poderosa voz, antes del éxito Pantera se dedicaba al Glam Rock, algo muy irónico y hasta gracioso si te pones a pensar jajaj, porque lo que harían en la década de los 90s harían que ganarán fans a montones y se emanciparán hacia lo más alto de la música, cargando un nuevo genero llamado Groove Metal.
Pantera was founded more or less by 1981 in a humble Texan studio and with a shared dream of a couple of brothers, but it is striking that the original style of the band was nothing like what was known a decade later, especially when the good Anselmo left his mark so marked in the band with his powerful voice, before the success Pantera was dedicated to Glam Rock, something very ironic and even funny if you think about it hahahah, because what they would do in the 90s would make them gain fans by the bucketload and emancipate themselves to the top of the music, carrying a new genre called Groove Metal.
El mayor éxito de la banda y que se mantendría por mas tiempo como una de las favoritas entre sus canciones, era Cowboys From Hell y curiosamente, coincidiría con su cambio de genero, si bien Cowboys From Hell es un clásico de clásicos, lo que mas me gusta son sus solos más que la propia voz de Anselmo en verdad, esto sin embargo no me pasa con su próximo gran Album y su próxima gran canción, la cual identifico como This Love, en esta pieza Anselmo tiene mayor tiempo cantando "melodicamente" aunque lo que reina tanto en la canción como en el video, es esta atmosfera tensa y retorcida, cosa que se confirma cuando la letra habla de un amor en el que ni Nagasaki fue tan toxico mi hermano, en todo caso, ambas me parecen tremendas canciones que no tienen perdida cuando se quiere explorar acerca de pantera, no obstante, no terminan siendo solo estas las que recomendaría para escuchar.
The biggest hit of the band and that would remain for more time as one of the favorites among their songs, was Cowboys From Hell and curiously, it would coincide with their change of genre, although Cowboys From Hell is a classic of classics, what I like more are their solos more than Anselmo's own voice in truth, this however does not happen to me with their next great album and their next great song, which I identify as This Love, in this piece Anselmo has more time singing "melodically" although what reigns both in the song and in the video, is this tense and twisted atmosphere, which is confirmed when the lyrics speak of a love in which neither Nagasaki was so toxic my brother, in any case, both seem to me tremendous songs that have no loss when you want to explore about Pantera, however, do not end up being only these the ones I would recommend to listen to.
Si tuviera que quedarme con una sola canción de toda la discografia del grupo, esa tendría que ser sin duda 5 Minutes Alone, que me perdonen los que más aman las dos primeras, pero es que hermano, vean ese vídeo y vean esos Riffs pesados, combinados con la potente Voz de un Anselmo en sus mejores momentos, épico mis panas, me cuesta mucho pensar en canciones mejores que esta pero esta es más mi propio opinión pues el grupo tiene varias canciones de las que puede presumir todo su poderío.
If I had to stay with only one song of the whole discography of the band, that would have to be undoubtedly 5 Minutes Alone, forgive me those who love the first two, but brother, watch that video and see those heavy riffs, combined with the powerful voice of Anselmo in his best moments, epic my friends, I can hardly think of better songs than this one but this is more my own opinion because the band has several songs that can boast all its power.
Pantera fue en su momento uno de los grupos encargado de llevar por todo lo alto a su genero, y aunque parezca redundante mencionarlo, en verdad, tiene un objetivo, y es que hasta hace poco, se consideraba que seria imposible volver a ver esta banda en vivo y en directo, más que nada, por todos los problemas personales y rencores que se guardaban sus integrantes, digamos que Anselmo no quedo en muy buenos terminos con los fundadores originales y no fue, hasta el fallecimiento de ambos, que por fin se decidio darle una oportunidad a volver a reformar a Pantera, algo que no se pudo haber dado ni de lejos, si no fuera principalmente por todos esos fans, que esperaron pacientemente 20 putos años ¿Sera Pantera el encargado de volver a poner el Metal en la escena internacional? no lo creo, pero lo que si sera cierto, es que sera un regalo para todos esos fans de la banda, del grupo y de su música, el poder volver a escucharlos tras 20 años de espera, algo que cada vez que lo pienso, me transmite una sonrisa por lo leales que pueden ser ciertos fanáticos con su grupo, pase el tiempo que pase.
Pantera was one of the bands in charge of taking their genre to the top, and although it seems redundant to mention it, in truth, it has a purpose, and until recently, it was considered that it would be impossible to see this band live again, mostly because of all the personal problems and grudges that its members kept for themselves, let's say that Anselmo was not in very good terms with the original founders and it wasn't until the death of both, that they finally decided to give him a chance to reform Pantera, something that could not have happened if it wasn't for all those fans, who waited patiently for 20 Fucking years. Will Pantera be the one in charge of putting Metal back on the international scene? I don't think so, but what will be true, is that it will be a gift for all those fans of the band, the band and their music, to be able to listen to them again after 20 years of waiting, something that every time I think about it, gives me a smile because of how loyal some fans can be to their band, no matter how much time passes.
